Transparent - HTTP Proxy server sends HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR header variable to host thus revealing your IP.

Anonymous - HTTP Proxy server does not send HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR variable to host, therefore not revealing your IP.

Elite - HTTP Proxy server does not send HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR, HTTP_VIA and HTTP_PROXY_CONNECTION variables. The host doesn't even know you are using a proxy server and of course it doesn't know your IP address.
